Island
Dynamic Island was released with the iPhone 14 and iOS 16, and it’s a big step forward in technology, since the iPhone 14 isn’t a notched device. You can do a range of different things with it like play music or see the progression on a timer you’ve set, but that’s the thing, you can only control and view two widgets at a time. And unfortunately, it’s only available on iOS 16 assuming you have an iPhone 14. So Island brings an entirely new, fresh perspective to this. With Island you can control and view as many widgets as you like at once and it supports older devices that are notched, non-notched and iPads that are iOS/iPadOS 14-16, Xina15 is also supported. Island is not the exact same as Dynamic Island but it behaves extremely similarly with interactive widgets that you can access whenever you like. Each widget has its own individual purpose.
